| Leo Roy Browning Sr. (Age 83) |
During that time he was living in a small town in South Dakota. It was during his senior year in high school that something happened that would leave him scratching his head and wondering about life after death.
His eighty three year old grandfather was living in Kansas at the time and was in extremely poor health. One day, Paul's parents received a phone call. The conversation was difficult at best as this elderly gentleman pleaded his case, wanting to move to South Dakota to spend his remaining days with family. Unfortunately, in the extremely small community where Paul lived, there wasn't any hospice or caretakers to satisfy the needs of his grandfather's deteriorating health.
The phone call eventually ended and the family felt helpless to grant the wishes of a family member. And just a few days after that call, his grandfather passed away.
Only a day or two after his passing, things began happening in that South Dakota home. Things that left Paul in complete disbelief, including a floor model television set that was turned half way around on a plush rug carpet. A three-drawer filing cabinet that took three men to move (as it was fully loaded) was found facing a wall (turned completely backwards). And the television set that originally was found facing the wrong way was suddenly coming on at night with the volume completely up, but would turn off just before anyone got into the room to turn it down or off.
These are the things that got Paul interested in finding answers. To learn everything he could about the paranormal and ghostly hauntings in particular.
